Hi there, my name is Kasiita Andrew -the organiser of this fundraiser .. and C.E.O Dapu Charity Uganda. I’m currently living in Uganda. The purpose of this fundraiser is to support homeless children in Uganda by making a difference in their lives as well as putting a smile on their faces. These children are living in poverty-stricken conditions with no access to shelter, water and clean clothing. I’ve seen little infants and young children some abandoned by their families, some orphans with no shelter living on the streets without any blankets to warm them at night or food to rid their hunger and safe clean water to drink . It’s heartbreaking to see these young children who are vulnerable struggle through life without any form of support and care to enable them to go through their childhood with ease. They also desire to lead comfortable lives with easy access to all basic needs they require to have a good life. The funds raised from this fundraiser will be used to help feed them, shelter them and provide them with all necessary care and necessities they need to make their lives better. Will partner with Dapu Charity Uganda a non-profit relief organisation dealt in humanitarian aid based in Uganda on ground and whose main aim is to facilitate care and support to those in need and living in poor conditions while ensuring communities have access to food, shelter, primary health care services and basic education. Let's save lives by supporting less fortunate children in Uganda through this fundraiser and eradicate homelessness!
